Upcoming project - bis (2019)

We are sorry to announce that our upcoming brickfilm project (strated in 2017) has gone completely off track since Spring 2018... But we are still working on it!

We are thinking about making a video depicting a typical day in the life of a brickfilm animator just to show you how tough it is! (The first 3 or 4 hours of the day are usually spent searching for the motivation to get OUT of the bed and start animating...).

Just kidding! Brickfilming is awesome! Yeaaaaah!... (Unconvincing enthusiasm)...

New gallery: Warhammer models (2019)

We recently dug up a lot of old Games Workshop models (figures and vehicles), many of which we painted 15 to 20 years ago.

Check out our gallery of Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 and The Lord Of The Rings miniatures!

The first figurines that we painted were the Space Wolves Space Marines.

Shooting Bricks: watch our first brickfilm tutorial! (2017)

Marching lego minifigs.jpg

We made this short tutorial for brickfilmers who want to animate Lego armies marching. Check it out - it might help you save time!

Normally, logic would tell you to animate the minifigures by making them take one step at a time, going forward, following the natural direction of time and space.

But we say NO! It's easier to animate the minifigures one POSITION at a time, and then rearrange the images in the right order in post production!

Inspection of troops: new brickfilm! (2017)

Have you seen our latest brickfilm yet?

Released in December 2016, this Lego Star Wars stop motion is about a Stormtrooper's worst nightmare (besides being sent on duty on a moon populated by seemingly cute little bears).

Upcoming project (2017)

In January 2017 we took part in the creation of a local Lego association that will organise exhibitions in Alsace, France, all year round. Kids will love it, and so will their parents!

The club will also design and build original Lego creations to be shown to the public, and provide Kamek Pictures with Lego bricks to be used in our next brickfilm.

Talking about brickfilms, we can't let you know about our next project yet, as it's classified until further notice... But don't worry, from time to time we will post production images on the website and on the social media to give you an idea of what to expect. Here's the first image!

Inspection of troops : new behind-the-scenes photos (2017)

With our latest brickfilm having been released recently, in 2017 we will regularly publish a selection of never-before-seen production photos! Click here to see the first pics!

We can already announce that we probably won't make a making-of video like we did for our Indiana Jones brickfilm. Unless you ask us to. Very nicely... We like being flattered...

Macro photography (2017)

Macro photos are cool and fun and stuff.

We will publish our best photos on a regular basis.

To the left you'll see the first photo taken on a freezing cold winter day in Alsace, France. Everything in it is real/natural: the trees in the background, the lighting, the snow. It was taken with a Canon EOS 70D camera and a 18-135 mm Canon lens (see more details on the gallery page).
