MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

Brickfilms, like all stop motion films, are basically made of many photos (or frames) animated in a sequence.

The quality of each photo has an important impact on the global quality of the animation film.

When we started making brickfilms at KAMEK Pictures, we used a low quality camera recorder to take pictures. In the end, most scenes in our animations were a bit out of focus, with a low resolution, poorly exposed...

Have a look at a selection of macro photos that we have taken using various techniques, lights, lenses...

If you want to make your own brickfilms, it will be a good idea to learn the basics of macro photography!

As amateur photographers, we learn by doing (and... by following advice from others).

Find some easy, basic tips that we believe help to take fairly good macro photos.
