At KAMEK Pictures, we started making brickfilms around the year 2007.

Remember, a brickfilm is a stop motion film (or animation) made with Lego toys.

​

Before 2007, we had made some short animations with MicroMachines and other toys, but what really prompted us to start making Lego animations was the film Death Proof.

​

Death Proof, directed by Quentin Tarantino, somehow had a special (and positive) impact on us, inspiring us to recreate some scenes from the film in stop motion, using Lego cars and minifigures.

This was the beginning of a passion for making brickfilms.
